3. What conditions can be pharmacist prescribe medications for?

  • Acne 

  • Allergic Rhinitis (hay fever)

  • Conjunctivitis (Pink Eye)

  • Dermatitis

  • Dysmenorrhea (Painful Period)

  • Dyspepsia (Indigestion)

  • Fungal infections (fungal nail, body ringworm, Jock itch, athlete's foot)

  • Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (heartburn)

  • Headache

  • Hemorrhoids

  • Herpes labialis (cold sore)

  • Impetigo

  • Musculoskeletal pain (muscle pain)

  • Nicotine dependence (quit smoking)

  • Oral ulcers (canker sores)

  • Oropharyngeal candidiasis (oral thrush)

  • Shingles

  • Threadworms or pinworms

  • Urinary tract infection (uncomplicated)
